Hello and welcome to the Catholic Schools Network for Dutchess and Ulster Counties.

    This site is for your reference and help in understanding the funds and services that are available for Catholic schools in New York State.  The Catholic Schools Network goal is to establish equity with our  public school brethren in services and resources.  It is through a thorough understanding of our rights that we will achieve this goal.

    To understand some of the issues we face please follow the links.  Here you will also find links for school listings, New York State sites, school district stats, and Dutchess County Legislatures.  Any comments and suggestions are welcomed. 

    Of particular interest is this press release by the NY Attorney General under the Links/NYS page,  it starts "Attorney General Eliot Spitzer today released a report concluding that there are significant areas in which the state can enhance the education received by students who attend non-public schools, allowing those students to meet the new standards developed by the State Education Department".  The report, a large .pdf file, details the paper and it's well represented members.
