Tennis Ball Therapy

Do you suffer from a sore spot in your upper/middle back —
you know... the one right between your shoulderblades?
Well, if you do, I have just the thing...

  1. Place two tennis balls into a sock so they fit tightly together
  2. Tie off the sock so that the tennis balls stay close together
  3. Lie down on the floor and place the tennis balls in the sock under your back, so that one tennis ball is on either side of your spine
  4. Position the balls in the sock on a tender area and relax into it - don't try to press hard, just relax into it, breathing fully and deeply
  5. Once the area is no longer tender and you have relaxed into the counterpressure of the tennis balls, move the balls to a new location and repeat all the way up and down the spine
